Privacy policy
A clear look at the information used by the Jawola Android game and the jawola.com website.
At a glance
Jawola does not require a player account. Your current city and unlocked-city progress are saved locally on your device. The game includes Google AdMob banner ads and optional rewarded ads, whose provider processes certain device and advertising information. This website has no sign-up forms, advertising scripts, or analytics scripts.
1. Information used by the game
Game progress. Jawola stores your last played level and highest unlocked level in a save file on your device. The current game does not send this save file to a Jawola account or cloud-save service.
Advertising information. Google’s Mobile Ads SDK processes information such as your device’s IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device or advertising identifiers, interactions with the app or ads, and diagnostic information. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention. The data processed can vary with SDK configuration, device settings, region, and privacy choices.
Information you choose to send. If you contact the developer, the developer receives the information you include, such as your email address and the content of your message, to respond to your request.
The current game does not request access to your contacts, microphone, camera, or precise device location.
2. Advertising and third parties
Jawola uses Google AdMob to provide banner advertising and rewarded advertising. Rewarded ads are offered when you choose an in-game reward. The advertising SDK may initialize and process data even if you do not choose a rewarded ad.
The app includes Google’s User Messaging Platform to present privacy or consent messages when available and required for your region. Ad personalization and data use depend on applicable requirements, the consent presented, your choices, and Google’s settings.
Google processes advertising data under its own policies. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from partner apps, and Google’s Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure.
Third-party services may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Their policies explain the safeguards, retention practices, and privacy controls that apply to their processing. This policy does not cover websites or services you open through advertisements.
3. The jawola.com website
This website serves its fonts, images, and styles directly. It does not use advertising cookies, analytics scripts, browser storage, or contact forms.
The hosting server may record standard access and error logs, including IP addresses, requested pages, browser information, and request times, to deliver the website and support its security and operation. The site operator’s hosting configuration determines whether these logs are retained and for how long.
Following an external link, such as a link to Google’s policies or a future app-store listing, takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.
4. Your privacy choices
- Local progress: you can remove locally saved game progress by clearing Jawola’s app storage in Android settings or uninstalling the game. This resets your progress.
- Advertising: you can manage your advertising ID and available advertising privacy controls through Android or Google settings. Available options differ by device and Android version. See Google’s advertising information and controls.
- Consent: where a privacy message is presented, review the choices in that message. Contact the developer if you need help with consent or data-use questions.
- Requests: depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information, object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data-protection authority. Requests concerning information held by the developer should use the contact below. Information controlled by Google is also subject to Google’s own request channels.
Deleting local game progress does not automatically delete information already processed by Google or other third-party services.
5. Retention and security
Game progress remains in local app storage until it is overwritten or removed. Information sent in a support request is retained as needed to handle that request and any applicable obligations. Advertising information is retained under the advertising provider’s policies; Jawola does not set a single retention period for Google’s systems.
Google states that data collected by its Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Avoid including passwords or sensitive information in support messages.
6. Age requirements and children’s privacy
Jawola is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the game or send personal information to the developer.
The game does not ask players to submit their age, name, or contact information to play and does not verify a player’s age. Advertising services may process device and advertising information as described in this policy. The intended age group does not mean that advertising data collection is disabled or that all players can independently consent to it.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to the developer, please contact the developer using the privacy contact below. The developer will review the request and take appropriate steps to delete that information from records under its control. For information processed by Google, you can also use the controls and request channels in Google’s Privacy Policy.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Jawola’s features or information practices change. The updated policy and its effective date will appear on this page.
